Here is my second fursuit, a green Griffin names Marcus. It took me about five days to make the body (I spent almost 20 hours straight sewing it two different times). I made the head and tail back in the beginning of the year, then the arms a few months later. Not until about the 22nd of August did I decide to make him into a fullsuit, and now I am glad I did! These are a spur-of-the-moment thing. Just some regular grey wolf paws. They have sewn on felt pawpads and sculpy claws.

Marcus G. fursuit head by Messerschmitt

This is my green griffin Marcus G.'s head. In the top shot, he doesn't have a mohawk. That's because it's removable. Id ecided to make it that way because it would have been a bit more difficult to attach the fur if the feathers were there. This head was made with a plastic mesh base with foam to give it shape. The beak and inside of the ears are foamies painted with Testors model paint, as is the niside of the mouth. The eyes are plastic mesh with small holes. The irises and pupil were colored on with black, green and silver Sharpie markers. He's got 11 silver key rings in each ear and I got the black tipped green fur at Jo-Anns.

Danny fursuit by Messerschmitt

This is a pic of my first fursuit, Danny. She's a plain black wolf with grey markings. She was just a partial for a few months, then I decided to sew a body. It has digigrade legs, a zipper, and a spot to attach the tail with a belt. The handpaws are shoulder length and are held together with elastic. The feetpaws are just cnavas shoes and the head is plastic mesh with bits of foam. I've done quite a bit to the suit since I've made it, and it's more form fitting now, her feet are a tad bit shorter and I completly re-did the jawset so her teeth don't stick out like that anymore. I just haven't taken any new pictures yet.
